2. Realize that although there are some people with aphasia and dysarthria who may never speak again due to the severity of the problem there are still others who could speak better with the right instruction.
Therefore There Are Some Who Will Not Improve Even With Speech Therapy for Dysarthria and Aphasia
In that case, give the AAC devices and the talking machines to those who would not benefit from speech therapy. But please do your best to really find out if your loved one would be good candidate for dysarthria speech therapy.
